Rice Recipes
As we do not supply rice, we are giving you our recipes for both boiled and fried rice below
Boiled rice for two using rice cooker
Rinse 230g of rice three times in cold water and drain
Place in rice cooker and add 230g of cold water
Switch on rice cooker
When finished, stir the rice and fluff up in cooker before serving
Boiled rice for two using saucepan
Rinse 230g of rice three times in cold water and drain
Place in saucepan and add 340g of cold water
Bring to boil on full heat without lid.
Reduce heat to low and stir immediately
Place lid on and leave for ten minutes. Do not remove lid.
Switch off heat and leave for two minutes
Before serving, stir the rice and fluff it up
Egg fried rice for two
After cooking the rice as above, beat two eggs in a bowl.
Chop a stalk of spring onion.
Heat 20g of cooking oil in a frying pan and stir in the eggs until they are in small pieces and fully cooked.
Add rice and stir, adding pinches of salt according to taste. Toss briefly.
Switch off heat and add the chopped spring onion. Toss again.
Plate and serve
